FBI widens probe of Hillary Clinton, discredits Clinton Foundation

New revelations show the FBI has widened its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, expanding from questions of mishandled classified information to potential public corruption linked to the Clinton Foundation.

According to a Fox News source, the Bureau is now “exploring coordination between donors and policy outcomes” from Clinton’s tenure at the State Department. The same source revealed the newly disclosed angle of the probe into Clinton’s email practices began in April and has since broadened to include possible intersections between charitable donations and official access.

The update follows months of document releases and investigations previously reported, including the federal judge’s order for gradual release of Clinton emails and revelations that dozens of Clinton emails were “born classified”.

Earlier, a former Clinton aide pleaded the Fifth rather than cooperate with investigators, and the FBI’s recovery of Clinton’s private server added to the campaign’s mounting credibility issues.

Clinton’s network of close advisers—including longtime confidant Sidney Blumenthal—has already drawn scrutiny for lucrative financial arrangements with the Clinton Foundation, further complicating her claims of separation between her charity and State Department work.

At least 150 more sensitive emails have surfaced in recent releases, many of which the campaign maintains were routine. But investigators are reportedly focused on how those communications may have intersected with the Foundation’s fundraising or donor access events.

For a candidate who once pledged a new era of transparency, Clinton’s inbox remains a Pandora’s box — each disclosure raising more questions than it answers.

The FBI declined public comment on the ongoing investigation, though law enforcement officials confirmed that the Bureau’s work now includes “public corruption” inquiries — a notable shift from earlier statements framing the case purely as a matter of classified document handling.
